Skills Development in the DEIEDP-BHTPA
The DEIEDP-BHTPA success is dependent on entrepreneurs and firm employees having, or having access to, the right skills. This programme scales existing IT competencies to industry-grade levels — equipping professionals for high-value roles in STPs and High-Tech Parks.

The skills development work supports four interconnected goals to grow Bangladesh's digital workforce.
More People in Better Jobs
4,000 new high-skill, graduate jobs will be facilitated by PRIDE. Skills development will provide pathways into STPs and High-Tech Parks (HTPs) for 3,000 beneficiaries leading to a graduate job — with opportunities more likely to be formal than in the wider labour market.
